conceptual papers ... so there's a bill in congress that isn't even in bill form, our senators are working off of "conceptual papers" which are 250+ pages long ... and no one even knows what it is going to say in the final draft!!
What on earth is up with that?! How on earth do our senators work this way? Shouldn't they be working off of the actual bill? Shouldn't they be reading the ACTUAL bill?? How can they vote for anything or even make a decision about the bill if they aren't even sure if what they are using to make the decision is even accurate? According to the senator in the above clip, the healthcare bill isn't even written yet!
And people want the government to take over and run our health care system?? Next thing you know, the surgeon performing your heart surgery will be working off a conceptual design and won't be able to tell you what he's going to do, or if it will work. Oh, and he'll ask you to pay up-front, without being able to guarantee results. Grrr...
