Update
The boys are growing - both physically & mentally! I thought you all might like to know how they are doing.
Jonathan - 62 lbs./4th grade/not sure on height - I'll update that later
Daniel - 76 lbs./3rd grade/he's up to my underarms!!
Nicholas - 50 lbs./Kindergarten/too tall! He's very leggy
I'll measure them later and post that. Right now I need to get ready for co-op! We're going to a blueberry park. :D
Okay, so maybe it wasn't YOU - but SOMEBODY did it. They aren't very nice.
The National Park Service is investigating vandalism done to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Someone, or a group of someones, poured an oily, sticky substance on the memorial - a potent enough substance that the memorial is now defaced. The substance corroded the memorial, erasing parts of names & smearing others.
Now veterans are organizing a Gathering of Eagles (
http://www.gatheringofeagles.org/) at the war memorial next Saturday. Michelle Malkin will be there ... if you live in the D.C. area, will you?
Go check out their
site and see what you can do in your area.
Verse of the day
But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one." 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
Thougth that was appropriate as we remember 9/11.
Remember to pray for the families who lost loved ones.
Remember to pray for our faithful soldiers, who, inspite of local opinion, soldier on - protecting us and helping another country obtain its freedom.
Daniel being goalie
Professor Nicky
Nicholas had me take a picture this morning. He said Jonathan made up the name "Professor Nicky". Isn't he silly?!
THE SEAHAWKS WON!!!!!!
Whew! They beat Tampa Bay 20-6!
In the beginning, it was a little iffy. My friend Lori wasn't too sure they'd pull it off, but the Hawks did it!!!
Hurray!!! First game of the season and it's our win!!
side note - Daniel's soccer team is called the Red Hawks. :)
There is a guy in England who makes chalk drawings on the pavement. When view from the right perspective, they look 3-D. It is too cool. Go see - (click

You'll want to scroll down the page a bit until you see "Anamorphic illusions". If you click on the pictures, you'll see a larger view.
