New glasses!
Here is Nicholas hamming for the camera. He's showing off his new glasses. Nicholas did not need a new prescription (praise the Lord!!), but his old frames were too small. (check out the before and after photos below) Today we went and picked up his new glasses. His first reaction was, "they're too big!". They do look a little big, but I think it gives him room to grow. Nicholas seemed to like them just fine after we left the eyeglasses place. :) 6/23/06

Friday, June 16, we went to the homeschool convention. Jef found a great set of classic books with bookends! The whole thing was only $14!! So here is our mantel, with some books between the Winnie the Pooh bookends, the clock, and our new set of books & bookends. You can also see my nutcracker (from when Jef took me to see the
Pacific NW Ballet's Nutcracker) and my little Russian eggs from Linda. It is a nesting set - one big, one little. :) We are hoping to keep the mantel uncluttered like this.
